What does a caterpillar have to do with turning 40?

More than you’d think…

Caterpillars go through this amazing transformation inside the chrysalis as they transform into a butterfly. It is intense! Essentially, the body disintegrates into moosh (technical term) which then reorganises and creates itself into a butterfly. Nature is mind-blowing!

Turning 40 feels like this. There are so many things I have let go of, and allowing them all, and I mean ALL to turn into moosh – my salary job, business, website, identities, perceptions, old patterns. Sometimes it’s cathartic, sometimes scary, other times exciting.

My inner voice tells me ‘oh, finally!’ And unlike a caterpillar, I’m not sure how long in linear time my creation of my butterfly will take (is it a phoenix? Is it a unicorn? Who knows!) But it will happen when the time is right.

I’m simply trusting the process.

Trusting myself. Trusting life.

And I know to my core that this butterfly will be STUNNING and POWERFUL.

How have you experienced transformation?
