Little courage fire sparks

Keeping our courage fire alight can be challenging.

Especially when we have mustered the courage to try something, and not receiving the results/outcome we want. It's so easy (and tempting) to return to our comfort zones.

Sometimes these setbacks are life's learnings - being part of the process. Sometimes we are tested to see if it is something we really want. Or sometimes, life's telling us that it's not for us in this moment.

So how do we keep this courage fire alive? Or at least smouldering? Much like a campfire, there are different levels of burn - from smouldering to roaring flames. Our Courage Fire is like this - we can't keep it roaring all the time, there is a time and place for the smouldering to occur to burn the current fuels, and make space for larger logs.

Here are simple ways to keep your courage fire alive:

* Order a different hot drink in the morning
* Look at someone as you walk past them on the street
* Plan nothing for the weekend and see where your body takes you
* Sit in silence and being present with the quiet, the nothingness
* Allow chaos to move through you, without controlling it

Try these courage fire sparks a try and see what happens - I'd love to hear from you!
