Myth Busting the *What*

“I don’t know WHAT to do next?"

Sound familiar?

I too have said this many times, and the result has been not awesome.

Have you asked these questions:

👀 What job should I do next?

👀 What should I do next with my life?

👀 What will happen if I leave this relationship?

Guess what?

The what is the *easy* part

Hmmm... allow this to sink in. The what is the easy part.

It’s the why that’s often the most revealing (and hardest).

But why? (pun intended)

Here's an analogy:

You are so excited to go to your friend's wedding, that's 1000km away tonight (the why). But can't leave until lunch. So you choose to fly (the what). You probably wouldn't choose a scooter (though if you have a stunning Vespa 🛵, you might like to give it a good whirl 😉)

When we uncover our why, and our emotions that lie underneath it, it gives us clues as to the what. Sometimes we desperately try to land on the what, while grasping on anything that's not what we presently have, which might not be the most aligned option in the medium to long run.

So tell me - What are your experiences of the what and why?
