Unleashing the Wild Woman within

Do you hear her calling?

Do you hear the rumblings of the roar that is bursting to come out?

Do you feel the fire in her heart that is growing hotter and wilder?

Do you feel her rising, ripping off the rags and staring at you with her wild eyes?

This is your wild woman calling.

This is your wild woman breathing.

This is your wild woman running freely.

This is your wild woman speaking your truth.

The wild woman within each of us has been calling us to remember. To remember who we are. To remember the true voice that we each hold. To remember the collective wisdom that is held in our bones, our cells, our muscles, our blood.

The wild woman is done with playing small. She is done with hiding. She is done with being the good girl, dabbing her mouth with a handkerchief, saying the right things, sitting like a lady, being polite.

No. She is done with that.

She is remembering who she is. The wild essence of her. She is remembering her connection with Gaia, Mother Earth, Pachamama, The Great Mother. She is remembering her connection with her ancestors, with her lineage. She is extending her hand to her sisters, healing the sister-wound, healing the mother-wound.

I have been journeying intensively with my wild woman for a few years. Connecting with her and feeling her presence more and more as the months go by. Learning her wisdom, learning when to stoke her fire, learning when to allow her to be seen. Feeling the wildness that was once extinguished, now coming online and running free. Connecting with other wild souls along the way.

It is a beautiful, soulful, painful and liberating process. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
