Different faces of courage

Courage can have different looks. not just a red cape flying in a Superwoman pose.

I realised that I was living life too much in this type of courage, and not enough in my vulnerability. I was using courage to cover up my vulnerability. As a woman, having courage at the forefront of my body constantly was simply exhausting, without the flipside of courage - vulnerability, life was too much in my yang energy, and I was burning out.

Living more in my vulnerability allows me to feel more, and to allow more into my life. Yes, I'm more open to the pains, but I'm also much more open to the joys and new opportunities into my life. Being more in my vulnerability is enabling me to feel more, and be receptive to life's beautiful invitations.

How would you prefer to live?
